Programme

The conference programme, which is currently being finalised by the Programme Committee, is structured in three sessions, supplemented by a poster exhibition, a presentation of a selection of startups and partner stands, which participants will be able to visit during the breaks, and a networking intersession.

It opens with a session setting the context, addressing the socio-economic and strategic benefits of air transport, the scientific understanding of its climate impacts, and levers and European public policies for mitigation.
The second and third sessions focus on the contributions of scientific work, industrial developments and operational optimisations to decarbonisation and the mitigation of ‘non-CO₂’ impacts.
The highlights will be three round-table discussions bringing together experts, industry representatives, operators and public decision-makers to debate strategic issues concerning achievable decarbonisation trajectories , the prevention of contrails across the airspace, and possible future developments in European public policies.
